As a major supplier to Hotayi, we would like to ask that you take the following actions:

• Commit and implement the RBA Code of Conduct within your company. For a copy of the RBA Code of Conduct, please refer to the attached document or please visit: http://www.responsiblebusiness.org/standards/code-of-conduct/
• Complete an RBA self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) for the facilities that support Hotayi.

Hotayi also executes due diligence on the source and chain of custody of conflict minerals in its supply chain in conformance with the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (“OECD”) Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas OECD Due Diligence Guidance.

In support of responsible sourcing, Hotayi is committed to supporting responsible sourcing of conflict minerals (gold, columbite-tantalite (also known as coltan), cassiterite, and wolframite, as well as their derivatives, tin, tantalum, and tungsten (collectively 3TG)), cobalt and other minerals from the DRC region (including conformant smelters within the DRC) and other conflict-affected or high-risk areas. Hotayi require the supplier to ensure that the source of conflict mineral used in the manufacture of its Products do not directly or indirectly fund violence or human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or adjoining countries. Hotayi requires its Suppliers to source conflict minerals from smelters validated (or on the path to validation) as compliant with conflict-free sourcing standards like the Conflict Free Smelter Program.

To achieve its conflict mineral policy objectives, Suppliers to comply with its conflict mineral programs. Supplier compliance includes:

• Providing complete, updated Conflict Minerals Reporting Templates (“CMRT”) as requested.
• Updating CMRTs within two (2) weeks of any smelter or refiner changes within the entire supply chain.

 

In conjunction with Paris Agreement, to keep global warming not to exceed 1.5°C, Greenhouse gas (GHG) need to be reduced and reach net zero emission by Year 2050. 

Today, Hotayi decides to set our goal – reduce 5% of carbon emission yearly. We work together with over 1,200 companies to achieve the net zero emission by Year 2050. 

As one of the leading Global EMS company, we also report our emissions related to Climate Change and Water Security to CDP annually. This makes the first step to drive the environmental improvement action.
